Distracted Driving
We educate motorists and the general public about the dangers of distracted driving by conducting presentations, disseminating news releases, and including articles in club publication. We support the initiatives of AAA National and contact federal and state legislators as appropriate.
Energy Conservation
AAA Hudson Valley continues to provide timely, in-depth information to raise public awareness of energy issues by placing articles in club publication, responding to media inquiries and issuing news releases relative to local and national gas prices. We proactively help motorists identify fuel-saving tips through news releases and articles to newspapers and through interviews on local radio and TV stations.
Environment
Car Clinics and Car Care Month promote the importance of vehicle checkups and maintenance through programs with contract stations and approved auto repair facilities by distributing car care folders and providing maintenance tips on the importance of preventive maintenance that contributes to safe driving.
AAA National Association Public Service

- Highway and air traffic system infrastructures.
- Automobile and truck safety initiatives.
- Fair travel taxes and recreation fees.
- Improving highway safety: roadway, vehicle and driver.
- Balancing improved mobility with environmental and air quality concerns.
