Driver safety and education programs
The AAA Hudson Valley Traffic Safety team offers free child safety seat inspection and installation, and they will loan you a car seat when needed. The team also provides in-school safety programs. The team also offers discounted courses including the New York State approved 6-hour defensive driving class and the 5-Hour Pre-Licensing class.
Bond protection
Your AAA Hudson Valley membership includes bond protection for many motor vehicle offenses. Most jurisdictions automatically accept your AAA membership card in lieu of cash, up to $1,000, for most offenses. Members may also secure a bail bond for up to $5,000 for many motor vehicle violations. Limitations and exceptions apply. Call 426-1000 for full details.
$500 reward
AAA members are protected from theft, hit-and-run and vandalism of their automobiles. AAA offers up to $500 ($2,000 for AAA Plus Members) reward to non-related person for information leading to the arrest and conviction of criminals who commit these crimes. Be sure to place your auto theft reward sticker on your car in a noticeable position.
