We love our Members and wanted to make sure you knew it! Thank you to everyone who joined us for AAA Member Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
The event took place from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at our Albany office and featured raffles, special offers, document shredding with Shred-It, used-bicycle donations and minor repairs from Albany Bike Rescue, and more.
We also appreciated everyone who visited our Latham and North Greenbush offices, which were open until 2 PM with limited activities available for the event.

Document Shredding by Shred-It
Just in time for spring cleaning, a Shred-It truck will be on-site to safely discard things you may have in piles on the floor. From credit card bills and loan statements to tax documents and medical bills, load these items into the Shred-It truck and they will be destroyed securely. No muss, no fuss! SHREDDING WILL BE AT OUR ALBANY OFFICE ON DELAWARE AVE ONLY.
To Shred:
Office paper (Paperclips, staples, etc.), Notepads & envelopes, Hanging files & file folders, soft-covered magazines
Not to Shred:
Food wrappers/containers, Thick metal, Batteries, Corrugated cardboard, Colored plastics & non-recyclable materials, credit cards
LIMIT ONE (1) TALL KITCHEN GARBAGE BAG PER CAR/MEMBER.
Have flags to recycle? We are accepting those, too! If you have a flag you’d like to dispose of, please let one of the staff know and will will collect from you and dispose of properly.
Raffle Prizes
Enter to win one of several door prizes from many of our amazing strategic partners. Prizes include gift cards, amusement park tickets, and more! Each entrant is eligible to win one prize. Plus, all Members in attendance will be entered to win our GOLDEN TICKET PRIZE – a set of NEW Tires from AAA Mobile Tire Sales & Service.
All 3 branch offices will have the raffle available. Please note that operating hours are different at Albany for this event.
Travel Partner Specials
Visit with representatives from AAA Preferred Travel Partners and get more information about exciting ships, destinations and itineraries. Partners on-site will be AmaWaterways, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, and Member First!

Celebrate National Bike Month
Good news for bicyclists! As part of this year’s event, Albany Bike Rescue will be onsite at our Albany office. Albany Bike Rescue is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that reconditions donated bicycles for redistribution to individuals who may not otherwise have access to them. During the event, their volunteers will provide minor bicycle repairs for members at no cost, with fees applied only if replacement parts are needed. Albany Bike Rescue is also collecting bicycle donations to be refurbished and re-homed.
Southpaw Visits AAA
Our discount partners are getting in on the fun, too! Bring the kiddos (and baseball fans) to meet and greet with ValleyCats beloved Southpaw. He will be at the Albany office on Delaware Ave from 12:00PM to 1:00PM to help us celebrate our Members, as well as the start of baseball season!
Time slot of Southpaw’s arrival is subject to change. Check back closer to event.
