Insurance Manager

Education/Experience Requirements:

• No Degree – must have 10 years of proven experience in the field.
• Bachelor’s Degree – must have 5 years of proven experience in the field.
• Master’s Degree – must have 1 year of proven experience in the field.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, schedule & supervise insurance agents
• Performance reviews & some aspects of payroll
• Proactively assist customers in the insurance application process
• Ensure carrier, state, and company guidelines are adhered to
• Establish an ongoing relationship with our customers & carriers
• Cross sell insurance products, identify sales leads and make outbound calls to finalize a sale
• Networking
• Other managerial & administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications & Licenses:

• Bachelor’s Degree or extensive experience preferred
• Two years experience as an Insurance Manager
• Must have Property & Casualty license
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance
• Knowledge of PL Rater & AMS360
• Required: NYS Property & Casualty Agent License
