Job Summary:

Education/Experience Requirements:
- No Degree – must have 10 years of proven experience in the field.
- Bachelor’s Degree – must have 5 years of proven experience in the field.
- Master’s Degree – must have 1 year of proven experience in the field.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, schedule & supervise insurance agents
- Performance reviews & some aspects of payroll
- Proactively assist customers in the insurance application process
- Ensure carrier, state, and company guidelines are adhered to
- Establish an ongoing relationship with our customers & carriers
- Cross sell insurance products, identify sales leads and make outbound calls to finalize a sale
- Networking
- Other managerial & administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications & Licenses:
- Bachelor’s Degree or extensive experience preferred
- Two years experience as an Insurance Manager
- Must have Property & Casualty license
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance
- Knowledge of PL Rater & AMS360
- Required: NYS Property & Casualty Agent License
